In the Municipality of Vejle, you may vote by post as of Tuesday, 7 October 2025, up to and including Friday, 14 November 2025 at 4.00 p.m.

You need not wait for your polling card in order to vote by post. Please remember to bring along some ID, such as your health insurance card, passport or driving licence.

Assistive device when voting at the polling stations

There will be a black felt-tipped pen, a magnifying glass and LED lamp at all polling stations on the election day. At five polling stations on the election day, there will be one polling booth, equipped with a height adjustable table.

At the following polling stations on the election day, there will be one polling booth, equipped with a magnifying device with a CCTV screen: DGI-Huset and Hældagerhallen.

Everyone who requests assistance in voting at the election is eligible to acquire assistance at the polling station.

As a general rule, personal assistance when voting will be conducted by two elected or appointed employees.

Instead, you may choose to be assisted by someone of your own choice (a personal assistant). This may be a family member, a friend or a spouse. If you are being assisted by a personal assistant of your own choice, an elected or appointed employee must always be present, as well, when casting your vote.

In order to acquire assistance to vote, you must explicitly tell the people, who must help you tick off the polling card, which political party or which candidate you wish to vote for. It is insufficient that you have written it down on a note at home and brought it with you, or that your vote is being relayed by an interpreter.

However, you are eligible to be personally assisted solely by one personally appointed assistant, provided:

• The voter explicitly and unambiguously wishes to do so, and
• This wish is caused by an apparent or verifiable, physical or mental impairment.

If you due to illness or lack of mobility are unable to be at the polling station on the election day, you may vote from your own home.

This voting by post occurs from your own home on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Your application can be submitted at the earliest on Tuesday, 21 October 2025, and must be received by Vejle Borgerservice, Skolegade 1, DK-7100 Vejle, no later than Monday, 10 November 2025 at 12 a.m.

Elderly and disabled citizens in the Municipality of Vejle have the opportunity to be transported free of charge to the polling stations on the election day.

To order this transportation service, please call the transport office of the Municipality of Vejle on +45 76 81 21 00, press 4.

You may call from Tuesday, 21 October 2025, and until Thursday, 6 November at 6 p.m.

Prior to an election, all citizens eligible to vote will receive a polling card.
All polling cards must be sent to all citizens eligible to vote no later than Thursday, 13 November 2025.

If you have not received your polling card, you may appear at your polling station on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, and bring along some ID, such as your health insurance card, driving licence or passport, so that you still have the opportunity to cast your vote at the election.
